Privacy Policy

KeyLab is a one-person workshop in Palm Harbor, Florida. This page says plainly what we collect, why, and who else touches it. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect

When you place an order. Your name, email address, postal address, phone number, the year, make and model of your car, and the finish you chose. If your car takes more than one type of key we may email to ask for a VIN, which is only ever used to confirm which key you have.

Your card details never reach us. Payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe. We receive confirmation that an order was paid and the details above; we never see or store your card number.

When you message us. Whatever you type into the contact form — your name, email, the car you mention and your message — reaches us as an email. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address.

Your basket stays in your own browser. What you add to the cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent anywhere until you start checkout.

What we do not collect

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking cookies on this site. Nobody is building a profile of you here.

Who processes it

A small number of companies handle data on our behalf so the site can function. Each is used only for the job named:

• Stripe — takes payment and collects your delivery and contact details on its own checkout page.
• Resend — delivers the emails the site sends, which is how your message reaches our inbox.
• Vercel — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS and routes email sent to our address.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax — several years, as required of any business. Messages and waitlist entries are kept until they are no longer useful, and you can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are on the waitlist, ask and you are off it — no argument, no retention offer.

Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting an order already placed will be emailed to you.
